|
課程概述 |
The main focus of this course is to promote students’ English reading skill to college level by introducing important reading strategies, although practices in the other three basic skills (listening, speaking, and writing) will also be included. Students will be encouraged to read both actively and extensively, enlarging their vocabulary thereby. There will be plenty of group discussion in class. |

Students are expected to master the key reading strategies introduced in the course and be able to respond actively to reading materials at the end of the term.

Regular attendance and class participation are essential: absence without good excuses will be penalized (points will be deducted from the final mark). All assignments should be done on time; late submission will be penalized. |
